02.01.11 - fuckuvery 1st

I can hardly believe it's already February.

I am very pleased and excited to announce that my new flooring downstairs is completed. The only "original" flooring left from the previous owners are the stairs except they used to have carpet and I pulled all that up over a year ago. There's still much painting to be done though. I need to finish the utility room but then I don't know what to paint next. The entryway closet could use some white paint but I would really love to do my room next! I'd love to be looking at paint swatches at Home Depot right now but then I won't be able to stop myself from spending money on paint that I shouldn't spend. Especially since I want to be looking at a new front loading W/D set as well as a tankless water heater. Despite wanting all that shit though, I should really be saving towards a new couch! And a chair. I also need to go get my coffee table and end table from a storage.
I also need to move my 120gal fish tank from my aunt's house! I'm very impulsive when I'm excited about something but with this I'm going to have to take my time. Get everything setup and done before I take on an expensive project. It's going to take a while to reacquire everything necessary to have an aquarium setup of this size.

I recorded a new vblog on Saturday with my phone but for some reason I can never upload them to YouTube. I was going to do it manually when I had some time but I think I'm going to rerecord one downstairs in my living room so you guys can see the checkers. And speaking of road bumps,  the new photo gallery was coming along just fine but I can't get it to work the way I want to now. I'm using Coppermine and a visual integration plug-in that prevents me from saving any albums when it's enabled. It works just fine disabled but then it's not integrated into my blog. I can't figure it out and it's the only thing stopping me from slowly uploading my collection. Ugh! :( I'll probably just give up this route and try to figure out how I would go about using a wrapper instead.

I finished all three seasons of Deadwood and I am *so* disappointed in the way the show ends. I needed more closure! I actually thought the show would end with Deadwood in flames. Especially since they were so into getting a firetruck. Also, I need more Swearengen! He was one of my favorite characters in the show. I loved everything about him, even when he was evil and trying to kill Sophie. I was so sad when they killed Ellsworth. :(
I wanna check out Tim Olyphant's new gig, Justified, but I've been too busy with the house to acquire it. Any of you readers seen it yet?
I also started watching Samurai Champloo and friggin love it! I'd really like to watch more animes like Afro Samurai that I can enjoy. I'm not really a fan of anime normally but maybe it's growing on me. Kinda like how I just discovered that I do actually kinda like Frisky Dingo now even though I didn't ever really before.

The weather here has been gorgeous for the last week but around 3am this morning there were very strong winds and rain. Now it's really cold outside. And by cold, I mean around 30 degrees. That's really cold to Texans. Won't get up into the 60's until Saturday. :(
